Students explore repertoire that spans the breadth of brass music history. From foundational methods such as Rubank, Arban, Clarke, Stamp, and Bai Lin to sophisticated solo literature and demanding orchestral excerpts, the curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire.
Musicianship fundamentals
Beyond technical proficiency, the studio emphasizes holistic musicianship. Lessons integrate music theory, ear training, and sight-reading as fundamental pillars of learning. By understanding the structural and harmonic language of the pieces they play, students become expressive players of classical brass literature.
